Want to take great pictures using your OPPO phone?
OPPO devices are designed with the philosophy that everyone has a creative soul within them – and with the right tools & inspiration, anyone can be an amazing creator.
Let's break down 10 Photography Principles we believe that everyone should know on their journey toward mastering the craft!
Aperture. The size of the opening in the lens through which light can enter the camera
ISO. The sensitivity of your camera’s digital sensor to light. Lower numbers (such as ISO 100) are less sensitive, while higher numbers (such as ISO 12,800) are more sensitive.
Shutter Speed. The length of time the shutter is opened during exposure and can vary from speeds as fast as 1/2000th of a second (which appears to freeze a split moment in time) to slower speeds like 1/4th of a second (which blurs moving objects).
The Exposure Triangle. The total light reaching the digital sensor – which is affected by a combination of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO – known as the Exposure Triangle.
Dynamic Range/HDR [High Dynamic Range]. The data a camera can capture at the extreme ends of exposure in a single scene – think of it as a spectrum that ranges from the darkest to the lightest parts of the image.
OIS [Optical Image Stabilization]. Useful for compensating for small camera movements during exposure.
EIS [Electronic Image Stabilization]. Stabilizes images with the use of software – basically, the software detects any shakes or movement during the shot and applies corrections
Optical Zoom. Purely mechanical form of zooming which can result in the subject appearing closer or farther, as desired.
Digital Zoom. Achieves a similar effect but without the use of any mechanical work.
Hybrid Zoom. A new and rapidly developing technology that combines optical zoom, digital zoom, and software to result in enhanced zooming that goes beyond the capabilities of either optical or digital zoom alone.
